In the First, week of March 2020, the Indian Government has approved the creation of 50,000 Government Jobs for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. These 50,000 Jobs will be filled up by the Recruitment agencies ie JKSSB and JKPSC in 2020-21. The Education Department of J&K is also gearing for Major Recruitment Drive in 2020-21 and all the pending posts in the Education Department will soon be referred to JKSSB and JKPSC.
So, Don't waste any time and start preparing for Upcoming JKSSB Teacher Recruitment 2020.

The year 2013 has been one of the Golden years in terms of Job creation, as JKSSB single-handedly created close to 19000 Government Jobs, out of which 5000 are Teacher posts. After that, there was no major Teacher Recruitment in the 4 years. Then in 2017, JKSSB has announced the Teacher Recruitment for 2100+  Posts, but that was only for 14 Districts and Zero vacancies for remaining 8 Districts

Now, JKSSB is back, with another opportunity for teacher aspirants and particularly those who missed Or Not selected for the Teacher Recruitment in 2013 and 2018. It is expected that JKSSB will announce 3000 Teacher Posts in the Upcoming JKSSB Recruitment 2020 .

JKSSB Teacher Exam of 2013 witnessed the Highest ever attendance, as more than 2 Lakh candidates have appeared in the Exam in 2013. The reason for such a bigger appearance in JKSSB Teacher Exam is the Eligibility criteria that was only 12th Pass, now the present government has amended the Rules and Fixed Graduation as minimum criteria to apply for teaching jobs. With this change in Qualification criteria, the competition will be lessened, as Only Graduates can become teachers in J&K.

Now, everyone here would like to know when this JKSSB Teacher Recruitment will be announced, What is the Syllabus and Pattern for Exam, and many other Questions. In this post, we will discuss each and every aspect and if you still have doubts, you can ask your questions, in the comments section.

Yes, its true and its Official, that there are more than 2100+ teacher posts have been announced by JKSSB for 14 Districts and more teacher Posts will be announced in the coming months for Leftover Districts. It is worth mentioning here that J&K Cabinet has approved 8200 Teacher Posts which includes Assistant Professors, 10+2 Lecturers and Teachers and these will be announced in 2018 and 2019.

On 27th Dec 2017, JKSSB had announced the Bumper Recruitment of 2154 Teacher Posts, which includes maximum posts for Kashmir Division and a Few Posts for Jammu Division. If you have not yet applied for the JKSSB Teacher Exam, then do so early, as the Last date for submitting the JKSSB Teacher Online form is 21st Jan 2018. Check Here the Detailed JKSSB Teacher Recruitment 2018

If you belong to any of the 8 Districts for which there are No vacancies then Remember, one thing sooner or later the Notification will definitely come and that too for over 3000+ posts. Now, the big question is How many people will apply for these 2154 vacancies. It is expected that JKSSB, might receive over 1 Lakh applications for these posts and mostly from Kashmir Division.

Last time, in 2013, JKSSB invited applications for over 5000+ posts and for that, 1.50 lakh people have applied.

So, from this, you can see the competition level.

Now, the next Question is How to beat this competition level and stand out in the List of Successful candidates. The answer is only Hard work, with a little bit of luck. As the saying goes, that Fortune favours the brave, so be brave, and Let your hard work, do the rest.

You can start your preparation, only if you have the correct JKSSB Teacher Syllabus. I used the word correct, because, there is lot of confusion over the Syllabus and the exact syllabus will be known only after there will be an official notification on this and Finally, on 28th Dec 2017 this confusion ends with the announcement of JKSSB Teacher Posts

Update (As on 28th Dec 2017)

On 28th Dec, JKSSB has released the Official Notification for 2154 Teacher Posts and the Good thing is that this Notification has the Revised and Latest Teacher Syllabus too. Usually, JKSSB announces the Notification and announces the Syllabus Later on. But this time, JKSSB did the great by announcing the Syllabus and Notification Simultaneously.

However, this time, there are Big Changes made in the Syllabus and Scheme of JKSSB Teacher Exam. If you have appeared for JKSSB Teacher Exam in 2013, then you might be aware that at that time, there is No allocation of posts for specific subjects. But this JKSSB Teacher Notification has 30% Posts for Science / Maths and 10% for Urdu.

Here you can see, this is the Subject-wise Break-up of Teacher Posts

ie Only those candidates who have studied Maths, Science and Urdu Subjects at Graduation Level for all the Years/ Semesters can apply for these posts, Other Graduates can apply for (General Teachers) Posts

Now, as the Post and Different, so Syllabus is Different too.

Previous Syllabus and Exam Pattern Does not exist anymore.

In this Post, we will discuss the Latest and Revised Syllabus for JKSSB Teacher Posts.
