JKSSB Teacher Exam Gets Postponed. Fresh Dates after 17th March 2018.

I guess this is the First major Exam Postponement by JKSSB under the esteemed Chairmanship of Shri Simrandeeep Singh Ji, but more than administrative reason, this time, the matter is Sub-Judice as some aggrieved aspirants managed to get the stay on the Exam, due to discriminatory exam policy of JK Service Selection Board (JKSSB).

The much-awaited JKSSB Teacher Exam scheduled to start on 9th March 2018 onwards stands postponed. It is pertinent to mention here that JKSSB has released the Teacher Admit Cards for 5 Districts with exams starting from 9th March 2018 onwards. Now with this postponement, the Downloaded Admit Cards shall be deemed to have been void-ab-initio.

Why Teacher Exam is Postponed?

Some Candidates, have approached for Honourable High Court of Jammu and Kashmir for Stay on the Teacher Written Exam starting from 9th March 2018. Actually, on 1st March 2018 a Picture of PIL Copy went viral on Social Media Groups, for Stay on the Teacher Written Exam.

Here are the Main points of the PIL

1) Multiple Question Papers for the Same Exam: Candidates have alleged that JKSSB Exam Policy is Discriminatory, as, for a limited No. of posts, multiple Question Papers will be set with varied Difficulty Level

Example: X has his Exam on 9th March and Y has his Exam on 10th March which means there will be 2 Papers for the same post and there is also a difference in the Difficulty Level. So, the person with better luck shall score more marks.

2) Gap in Preparation Period: Through this system of Examination, candidates who have their exams at later dates, will get more preparation time, plus they will get to know the Nature of Questions asked in the previous Exam, which is again a Violation as per the Fundamental Right to Equal Opportunity under Article 16 of Constitution.

3) Supreme Court Ruling: In 2017, CBSE conducted the NEET Exam, by setting multiple Papers. In this regard, Supreme Court said that it is illogical to conduct the NEET Exam through multiple paper system and then maintain the balance in the Difficulty Level. Keeping in view the Supreme Court Ruling, CBSE Decided to conduct the NEET-2018 with single paper for all candidates.

This is the Content of the PIL. But it is not yet confirmed, whether the PIL is accepted or Not. We are collecting information from various sources and once confirmed, we will update it on our Website.

Now with this postponement Notice, one thing is confirmed that Stay has been put on the JKSSB Exam.
