Eligibility Criteria for JR. Assistant and Stenographer Posts

As per the Notification, the Eligibility criteria for the recruitment of Jr. Assistants and Jr. Stenographer is

For Jr. Assistants : Graduation from a recognized University with knowledge of Type writing and having Typing speed of not less than 35 WPM along with 6 months Certificate course in Computer Applications from recognized Institutes

For Stenographers: Graduate having minimum speed of 65 WPM in shorthand, and 35 WPM in Type Writing, along with 6 months certificate course in Computer applications from a recognized institute

Previous Selection Criteria : Earlier, the Selection process comprises of Type test and Viva-Voce.
  • 80% wightage is for the Type test
  • 20% for Interview
Now JKSSB had introduced the Written test for Jr. Assistant and written test is only for those, who qualify the type test.
