JKSSB released the Detailed Syllabus for Jr. Assistant and Lab Assistant Posts. Computer-Based Tests in December 2017

If you are a Government Job Aspirant in J&K, then you might be aware that recently, JKSSB has announced 1289 Fresh Jobs in Education Department and this is after a very long time, that JKSSB has announced some good no. of vacancies. It includes JKSSB Jr. Assistant, Lab Assistant, Library Assistant and Jr. Librarian posts, But still, those looking for Teacher posts in Education Department will have to wait for some time, as these vacancies are yet to be referred to JKSSB. We have another update regarding the more JKSSB Jobs, as on 17th Nov, 2017, JKSSB has announced another Advertisement, for 234 various posts. If you have applied for JKSSB Recruitment 2017 1289 Posts, then Today, we have some important news for you.

On 2nd November 2018, JKSSB has announced the Exam Schedule and Syllabus for these posts. It is a regular practice at JKSSB, not to announce the Syllabus and Exam Dates at the time of Notification. However, with the appointment of Mr Simrandeep Singh as JKSSB Chairman, things are changing for better in JKSSB and there is swiftness in all the departments, right from Announcement of Notifications to releasing the Selection Lists.

As per the Official Notification, JKSSB will conduct the Written Exam for said posts in the month of December 2017. While actual Exam Dates will be known only when the Admit Cards will be available for Download, for which there will be a separate Notice released by JKSSB

When JKSSB Exams are Scheduled?

This JKSSB Exam Date is for those posts, that have been recently announced by JKSSB vide Advt No. 02/2017/43 to 02/2017/118 Dated 18-10-2017.

As per the Official Notification, JKSSB will conduct the Exam for said posts in the month of December 2017

1) Applicants should note that these Dates are Tentative only and actual dates will be known only when the SSB releases the Admit cards

2) JKSSB will conduct the Written Exams in Objective mode and that too in Computer Based Mode (Online)

3) Selection Criteria for these posts is already announced and you can have it from the Official JKSSB Advt Notification

Syllabus for JKSSB Jr. Assistant

In the recently announced JKSSB Jr. Assistant posts, there is a change is the Selection criteria and Exam Pattern

Earlier, the Selection process for Jr. Assistants comprises of Type Test (80 Points) and Interview (20 Points). But the recently announced criteria is completely changed with Interviews are taken off .

Now, this is the Revised Selection Criteria for JR. Assistant Posts

1) Type Test: 60 Points
2) Written Test: 40 Points

(I) Type Test: All the candidates will necessarily have to appear in the Type test and Qualify it to be considered to Written TEst. Candidates appearing for Typing test shall have to score a Typing speed of not less than 35 WPM and 90% accuracy. Net Speed of the Typing test will be converted into points out of 60 Marks

Duration of Typing Test: 10 Minutes

(II) Written Test: Candidates Qualifying the Typing test, will be called for the Written test, which will be conducted through Computer Based Mode (Online)

Exam Duration: 40 Minutes
Maximum Marks: 40

Syllabus for JKSSB Laboratory Assistant Exam

If you have applied for JKSSB Lab Assistant Recruitment, then you should be waiting for the release of Syllabus. JKSSB has already defined the Criteria for Laboratory Assistant Exam at the time of Notification. However, in case you have not checked then you should note the Selection process for Lab Assistant posts, then kindly note that Selection process comprises of Written Test only.
