The doubts regarding the JKSSB syllabus, gets cleared, only after the JKSSB Teacher Notification, will be out.

Till then you can study English, General Knowledge and J&K General Knowledge, as these sections will definitely remain the part of the syllabus.

For Example: If, there are 100 vacancies in your respective district, then, 500 Top candidates, from the Merit List of Written exam, will be called for Interview.

Interview (Viva-Voce) carries a weighatge of 20 marks

Why there are Interviews for teacher posts in J&K ?

The Central government had already dispensed with Interviews for Non Gazetted posts, but JKSSB is still continuing its old age routine for conducting the Interview.

It is high time, that JKSSB should take decision in this matter, and stop conducting interviews for Non-Gazetted posts (Including teacher) posts, as every one here is not able to get the Sifarish for getting good marks in Interview.

We have seen, many cases, where candidates have performed well in Written exam, but they are awarded Low marks in Interview, and this ceases them to being in Final Selection List.
